I sat down on the stoop getting ready to put my shoes on and stared at the red door for what must have been five minutes. I was going for a walk to the store, it was the beginning of our quarantine. It all came back to me…..I went back in time to when I was having my inside walls painted, upgrading my interior and the painter took the door off and put it outside so he could paint the trim. When he went to put the door on it wouldn’t close, it got warped from being in the sun. He worked for hours trying different things to get it to straighten out. Finally he got it to close. I wasn’t going to replace a perfectly good working door, even though it was as old as the house and ugly brown. I could paint it I thought. But this mistake that I was bummed about at the time, allowed me the opportunity to upgrade my door! I guess my higher wisdom took me back in time where it needed to go to remind me that sometimes things seem like problems but turn out to be blessings. Can you think of a time in your life when something went ‘wrong’ or was a ‘problem’ and shift your perspective to see the gift in it? Tony Robbins says things aren’t happening to you, they’re happening for you. It’s more challenging to do this when you’re in it, but if you look for the gift you can shift from victim to victor! When we change our perspective we change how we feel. I have spent this year upgrading myself. I’ve invested in trainings to uplevel my skills, I’ve been studying Life Alignment, attending weekly calls and various trainings to take me to the next level. Now is the time of preparation for the coming year, to shift what needs to be shifted from the personal to the collective. It all begins within, as we change ourselves, our world changes. I love my RED DOOR! 🙂 Message me back if you would like a free 15 minute phone consult to see if my work would help you to shift to the next level. |
