My mom and I were talking about how strange things are now with this COVID-19 and she said “it’s like we are living in a Sci-Fi movie”. Isn’t that the truth!

So many of us are feeling stressed, in fear, unable to sleep, financial challenges…..our lives have been disrupted!!

Author and scientist Gregg Braden speaks about COVID-19 and how we are all in a collective grief. And yes, that makes sense. We have a lot to grieve about, our lives have been disrupted. To deny our emotions makes them stronger, pushes them down into the subconscious.

Let’s talk about our pets! Did you know that our pets pick up on our emotions? A Veterinarian was recently interviewed and said they are seeing a lot of very stressed pets.

My cat Aspen was having some potty issues…..I took her in the bathroom, sat on the floor and did some Reiki on her and also played an energy clearing CD. I figured it would help us both! I also gave her Homeopathic Rescue Remedy (and me too!). I’m pleased that it helped her and I didn’t have to take her to the Vet. I knew how stressed I had been and figured she must have been taking it on. Pets do that.

Many of us have had trouble sleeping due to all of the stress associated with COVID-19. Here are some helpful tips for better sleep:

  • We entrain to our electronics so try to avoid your phone, electronics, social media and the news before bedtime.
  • Feed your subconscious powerful positive messages before bedtime.
  • Say a prayer.
  • Exercise during the day.
  • Spend time in nature, in silence
  • Avoid caffeine and alcohol before bedtime.
  • Meditate, do EFT Tapping and Self-Hypnosis
